Tables, repeatedly pressing the ENTER key, superfluous section breaks, inadvertent page breaks, excess paragraph markers, and other factors might result in extra pages.

This key combination shows paragraph markers () at the conclusion of each paragraph and each blank line, as well as at the start of the additional blank page, practically every time you hit the ENTER key.
Select the sentence markers using your mouse or trackpad, then hit the DELETE button to remove the extra pages. If one of the bookmarks remains, use the BACKSPACE key to remove it.
You may also eliminate blank pages by going to the blank pages and hitting BACKSPACE until the paragraph markers vanish if you're patient.
Step 1 – Select the View tab to delete any additional blank pages that may have been added to the end of your document.
Step 2: Select the Navigation Panel from the drop-down menu. A sidebar will appear with three tabs: Headers, Pages, and Results. To see all of the document pages in the sidebar, click Pages.
Step 3: The current page will be automatically picked. To delete the additional blank page, select it with your mouse and press the DELETE key on your keyboard.
By hitting the BACKSPACE key, you may also delete the additional blank page.
